SRK and Hrithik to work together

There is saying that 98% of fights happen due to girls but in the following case, two women are bringing two guys together. The strong friendship between SRK’s wife Gauri and Hrithik’s wife Susanne has resulted in the two stars collaborating on a movie.

A source tells us, ‘SRK and Hrithik are perceived as rivals but in actuality, they are friends. Gauri and Susanne are very good friends. They have the same social circle comprising Twinkle Khanna, Malaika Arora Khan, Maheep Kapoor, Bhavna Pandey, Farah Khan and Anu Dewan. However, Akshay Kumar, Salman Khan and Aamir Khan are not friends with SRK while Hrithik thinks of SRK as his elder brother.’

He adds, ‘When Hrithik has entered the industry, there was a buzz about SRk feeling insecure. However, Hrithik and SRK played brothers in K3G in 2001. The film was a big hit. Later, they also appeared with their wives on Karan Johar’s show. Hrithik talked about how SRK had personally called him to congratulate about his performance in Koi Mil Gaya. For Hrithik, SRK’s appreciation made up for losing the National award.’

About the new film, our source says, ‘It will be a joint venture between Red Chillies and Filmkraft. Rakesh Roshan, who has directed SRK in Karan-Arjun and Koyla will direct another actor for the first time since Kaho Naa Pyaar Hai. Hrithik and SRK might play brothers in the film but they would both like to try something new to surprise their audiences. The movie will go on the floors in 2011 as both actors are busy with other projects right now.’
